How can I become an art therapist?
Okay so I recently enrolled in a community college and would like to transfer as soon as possible.I would like to major in art because it is the quickest way to transfer and also because I really love it. But I also hear that you need to major in psychology to get into a graduate program in art therapy. I am not sure at all what I should major in, because I really would like to become an art therapist. Would someone please tell me how I can become an art therapist, and what I should be majoring in?

What undergraduate studies should I consider for a future career in art therapy?
I know that art therapy is a graduate degree, so I need to know what programs I should consider for undergraduate school. I want to go to art school (hopefully Pratt Institute) so if you have any information that could help me, that would be fantastic.

What kind of degree/ schooling do i need to be an art therapist?
i am in school right now getting my associates in art and i know i need to transfer to a different school that offers art therapy but my attempts to contact people at the school to get info on the program have failed and i just want to know if i am wasting my time and money right now!

I want to become an art therapist would…..?
Okay I’ve been recently thinking about going to Temple University because I plan on studying psychology but I also always had a thing for art and I’m even in national art honor society. Everyone says I’m great at drawing (my art teacher said im an awesome drawer and I could get a job in art or a related field) but I don’t think going plainly into an art school would be a great idea. I would like to make a good salary. Anyways I thought about double majoring in art and psychology in college. So I want to know does Temple have good enough art programs? Because I might go for art therapy in graduate school. Please give me good answers and if you know any better schools for me to choose from can you list them also.

Art Therapy Pre-reqs?
I am looking into doing Art Therapy but have discovered its a masters only programme. Can I train in a different area – say film – in a bachelors dynamic, and then do the MA is Art therapy? i.e does it matter what I study as an undergrad?
